I just submitted my last final exam today to CCU.

Now I just have to wait for the letter saying I've fulfilled all of the requirements to graduate.

    I can't believe it's over.

Awesome!!!!! Way to go!!!!!! I bet you cant wait to list that on your resume!!!! What a great feeling it is to see it on your resume!!!

Also, tell us what you thought of your experience at CCU for the benefit of newbies or others who may be looking at CCU as an option.

Anyway, I am very happy for you. I know you have worked very hard for it, and nobody deserves it more!

I was in the BS in Business program. I have to say that I enjoyed the work a lot and feel sort of empty having nothing to do in the evenings now.

I received an email from CCU yesterday saying that course materials are now available electronically and you must sign up to use that option so they are making a lot of improvements.

I like the textbook and paper method of study myself since I'm on the go a lot so the structure of the program was just what I wanted. I'd recommend the school to anyone as long as they know the difference between RA and NA. The NA degree is accepted by my employer and I'm set in my career so it's a nice fit for me.

I'm very happy that I ended with a GPA of about 3.6. I was hoping to be invited to join the honor society described below:

The Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Board of Trustees, in cooperation with the President of the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society, established Delta Epsilon Tau (DET) International Honor Society in 1997. CCU established the "Gamma of California" Chapter of the DET International Honor Society (DET) on March 31, 2005.

    -------

I'm currently debating on whether to enroll in the Ed. Masters program at CCU. I'm not sure I can handle all the writing that's required at this time; perhaps I will enroll in the Fall. Then again, I may enroll in a month or so when I realize that I miss coming home to schoolwork.

Thanks for the good wishes. It's been a heck of a ride. I can't wait to see my degree. First one in the family to graduate from college and all...

I recommend that you take the summer off and shop around for your next degree. If you haven't decided on an education degree, you might want to take advantage of the partnership with Colorado Technical University and leverage yourself into a RA masters degree, if possible. Still, there are other options, too.
