I finished my final exam for the last class for the University of Florida Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Risk Management.

I completed the three classes in a year:
PHA5270 - Law Health Care and Patient Safety - grade B

PHA5271 - Introduction to HCRM Quality Improvement and Compliance - grade A

    PHA5272 - Risk Management and Liability - grade B+

Next plan – combine these classes with my NCU electives to become a Florida Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager. After that, figure out why I did all this!

    Great job!

I just enrolled in my FIRST class at U of F (STA 2023, Intro to Statistics).

They were very tough - the subject was not the most exciting.

    Nice job, Randell.

Maybe you suffered through it because you liked it, you're good at it, or just for the Jazz. But friend, either way, you're a true inspiration to the rest of us.

    Very well done!

Congrats Randell. I have my master's in health administration and I think those would be tough classes for me too. Is that an insurance credential? Do people with these certificates generally work for insurance companies or go on to become actuaries?

    Insurance certs are an option.

Awesome, congratulations!! Did/will any of the UFL credits be accepted by your doctoral program?

I may soon become a student again myself, instead of just talking about it. I'll make the announcement at the appropriate time. :)

No, I already transferred the max of 30 credits. There is talk of a MS in Risk from UF and those credits will transfer. If anyone wants a school with a strong name on their resume, this program is the way to go. Dr Nanni, who runs the program, is great and flexible.

Very strong name, especially here in Florida. If I was looking for an MBA for employment purposes I would have done everything possible to get into the UF MBA program.

    Congratulations!
