I am currently enrolled with Western Illinois University. My goal is to transfer to Charter Oak or mayby Edison to get my degree.I want to do a porfolio and i am not sure wether i should wait until i transfer to Charter to do my portfolio.WIU assessment is based primarly on how i have utilize my course material on the job.Is it true that Charter/Edison is more liberal with their portfolio?

Good Morning, I did a porfolio for Thomas Edison last year and found it fairly easy. It was rejected the first time for the narrative but that was a simple fix. I'm currently attempting a 9 credit portfolio and am following the same criteria list. I found my portfolio advisor helpful. Good luck. Amanda Jane

aware, you'd better check this out very solidly: It's my recollection that while TESC will allow you to use *any* Regionally Accredited college's course descriptions for portfolio credit, WIU will only allow you to use their own. This, of course, means you'll be greatly limited by the WIU model in comparison to TESC's policy.

Please verify this information before acting on it.

    Regards,
    John
