Has Ashworth made a mistake with this?

Ashworth College is now known as Ashworth University. But there is a potential issue.

When you type "Ashworth University" into the google search engine, you get the infamous A.shwood University calling themselves Ashworth University, too.

    http://www.google.com/search?q=Ashworth+University&hl=en&safe=off&start=10&sa=N

All you need as a job applicant is for an uninformed HR department to do a net search and confuse the two :-(

I get a bunch of hits for Ashford; that seems odd doesn't it? Purchased ad words maybe.

Odd. When you follow the link for "College Programs" it brings to to the Ashworth College site.

I wonder what the diplomas for these programs will say?

I wonder if, with thier new "university" brand, they're planning to offer a professional doctorate?

    Odd...

Hmm.. well this is quite and odd development. I would think this would be the type of thing you might want to tell your current and former students about. I know I never heard anything about it.

A few weeks ago a saw an advertisement that had "university" instead of college. I guess they finally updated the site.

I think Ashworth's first mistake was nearly tripling the cost of its MBA program. Does anybody know of any Ashworth student that has actually graduated from the MBA program? I have yet to come across one.
