Well, after (just about) completing my first course in my Supply Chain grad certificate at Penn State, I'm starting to wonder about the utility of the certificate. Not that it doesn't align with my industry and job...just that the benefit doesn't seem to be there.

I'm looking for a grad certificate in leadership or management at this point. Online, RA.

I saw a nice on from Fort Hays State but I'm a little fuzzy if they're RA or not?

    Any other suggestions?

Fort Hays is RA. As you can see from my sig I'm enrolled there and am about 1/2 done my degree.

I am very pleased with FHSU's online program and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thanks, I saw they were accredited by North Central Assoc. but it wasn't clear if that was the "right" accreditation for RA. Their website specifically mentioned they were "Nationally Accredited" so I wasn't sure.

For reference, the six regional accreditors (RA) are:

    • Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, as well as schools for American children in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
    • New England Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in the six New England states.
    • North Central Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
    • Northwest Association of Accredited Schools - Primary and secondary schools in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
    • Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities - Postsecondary institutions (colleges and universities) in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
    • Western Association of Schools and Colleges - Educational institutions in California, Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, Micronesia, Palau, and Northern Marianas Islands.
    • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Educational institutions in Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas.

Coach, I count seven (7) regional accreditors in that list.

That is because he listed Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, of which the former accredits primary & secondary schools and the latter accredits institutions of higher education, both of which are part of the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
