Recognised Online Certificates Or Diploma's

Hi there,

Does anyone know where to get free or inexpensive online courses with certificates or diplomas awarded by a college or university anywhere in the world?

Its sometimes important to add new stuff to one's cv.

I got a project management skill certificate from rutgers for 50$. If you don't mind the word "skill certificate" in your resume, it is a good way to get a very cheap certificate from a recognized University.

In the complete list of certifications for Rutgers skills certification there is a listing for Adult Learning Fundamentals, but I have not been able to find a link to take the test.
I was put on hold for more than five minutes when I called, so I hung up and decided to try the forum to know if anybody has a direct URL to the test. Yes, I googled it and came up empty.
