I currently teach film/video production as well as film appreciation. Is anyone aware of a DL course in these areas?
I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing that you are looking for, but New College of California offers an online MA in Media Studies. It embeds media in a wider (and rather politicized) humanities context, rather than concentrating on technical aspects of film and video production. http://www.newcollege.edu/mediastudies/toc.html

There are many many such DL courses. I tried to make a list for you, but ran out of steam. I suggest you do a search for "film" at http://courses.telecampus.edu You'll get hundreds of hits since you'll find any course involving "film" (including, for example, medical technology involving X-ray film) but there'll be at least a few dozen that might be relevant.
