It seems that Jones International is getting into the market of DBAs. They are about to offer a DBA starting this year.

I wonder how the DBA from Jones would compare with the one from NCU. It is good to see more alternatives of development.

Well, I just went to the Jones International University website www.international.edu and found no mention of a DBA program in the works. Do you mind telling us where you got this good information?

I'm not sure that I've ever corresponded with anyone who actually was a student of JIU. Does anyone here have experience with them?

It's been on their page at the Higher Learning Commission for over a year. Not sure what info the original poster might have to suggest it's starting soon.

    Hi,

I got in a newsletter from JUI, it is not advertised yet as they are still working the details but you could email them and get more details if interested. The DBA will be fully online as the one from NCU or TUI.

Interesting. I noticed at the JIU website that they are AACSB. So I take it that, if approved, their DBA would be AACSB, too. Is that your reading of the situation?

    Membership != Accreditation

For the non-techies out there, what vincey37 is trying to say is that membership does not equal accreditaiton. :)

    More specifically:

    Membership < Accreditation

Is this another way of writing Membership <> Accreditation?

I can honestly say that I have never seen != used before.

    Sorry, I stand corrected.

Then you have not programmed using the C language, sir. ;-)

Yup. The exclamation point means "not".

Given your program, I can say with confidence that this will not be the last time. :)

My background is in math so it is safe to say that I have not programmed in C. Thank you letting me in on the notation. :)

I hope so because I hate the fact that I have little to no programming knowledge. I would like to change this fact at least a little.

Programming is easy....once you figure out how to do it. :)

They are accredited by the AACSB yet but they are pursuing it at least. However, if they get it the DBA would increase its fees so you might see it as a stock that might increase its value.

Do you mean They are not accredited yet?

In that case if one enrolls before the accreditation process is established, will the degree be recognized?
