I am close to completing my bachelors degree and am toying with the idea of a Masters program. I will be moving to NY next fall and am looking for programs around there. I was initially interested in dentistry but now realize that the 4 year full time commitment will not be suitable for me.There are no part time or part campus-part online programs for dentistry. The one i am looking at is London School of Journalism.I believe this is a great program and can be done in 9-12 months if one wants to. I am also interested in Media Management.I do not know much about this one but it sounds fun I have no work experience so a B school is out of question but there are online degree programs for this one. Also there MS programs in Media Management. I want to know if anyone knows more about this field. The following are the programs i saw online but i guess they are all out of league and require work experience and many more things. http://www.mimusa.org/Admission.htm (Manhattan Institute of Management) The next one is http://www.metropolitan.edu/admissions/ It's the Metropolitan college of New York and has a very good one year MBA in Media Management. I am going to email them today but i am concerned about whether these are jus fancy MBA colleges with no real depth like the more well know B schools. I would be better off doing a MS in Public Health or something in that case as that was what i was initially interested in. Please please please advice me guys.I need all the help to help me decide what i want to do next.As you can see i am pretty confused here. You advice will be very valuable for me. Adoncia
I am basically looking for shorter programs like one year programs or 2 year part time or any part online part campus programs in New York.
