    Hello,

Is a masters degree from Australia (U of S.Queensland) considered equivalent to a US/Canadian masters degree?

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thank you,

Any Aussie school recognized by the Australian Qualifications Framework is considered on a par with regionally accredited US institutions. USQ makes the grade.

Yep. They're good. Why wouldn't they be?

    Thank you for your replies.

USQ offers both a Masters and an Honors Masters. For entry into a US/Canadian Phd program does it matter which one is taken?

It probably depends on the PhD program. If the difference is that one has a thesis and the other does not, you're probably better off with the former.

Do you have a PhD program in mind already?
