    Accredited ones

Regionally accredited ones or nationally accredited ones. I dont mind taking multiple courses in one shot. I also do not wish to transfer credits from the UGC accredited degrees I hold from India. I just want a fresh US based Bachelor's degree from scratch that I maybe able to finish off in less time through online/proctored tests.

    Vinodgopal,

Be honest, I don't think so. Also, BA in 4 weeks? Yes, someone had done it; but that person is really super smart. Lawrie Miller is a smart person. If I want to experdite my degree, it takes me at least 12 months.

The theory behind BA in 4 weeks goes like this. Assume you have no academic credits. Assume that you nevertheless have knowledge of lots of differet academic subjects. Assume you live near a testing center where you can take your CLEPs and DANTES'es and ECEs and TECEPs and whatever else there is in the alphabet soup of testing out procedures. Assume that you have enough time on your hands to be taking two tests a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Each test is worth the equivalent of three semester hours. You therefore accumulate six semester hours a day. Going into the testing center Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday therefore earns you 30 semester hours, or the equivalent of one full year of college in one week. Keep repeating this process and you earn your BA in four weeks. In reality, that's a lot of assumptions.

For the sake of argument, it 'may' be do-able to get an Associates degree in 4 weeks if one leveraged the 40 FEMA credits then took the general ed tests.

In practice though, it stretches the limit of credibility (never heard of anyone doing it).

    So it is possible

If I come to USA right? By the way, will I make a fair chance in completing a four year degree program in one year atleast if not in a few weeks.

I was able to go from an AA to a BS in six weeks by testing out.

That is a good idea...just visit US for about 2 months like on vacation. You can transfer credits from your previous Undergrad, but requires translation services or whatever you want to call that.

For the sake of argument let us assume for the moment that you are willing to complete an associate degree (AA or AS) before attempting the bachelor degree (BA or BS).

Using Thomas Edison State College (TESC) as an example and in particular the Associate of Arts degree:

FEMA courses can fill the free electives (12 credit hours). The general education requirement (48 credit hours, 16 courses) could be completed by testing out (CLEP, DANTES, ECE, TECEPS). If you allow yourself three (3) months, it might be possible to realistically cover the 48 credit hours of tests plus the 12 credit hours of free electives using FEMA courses. However, your grasp of the English language and ability to quickly learn such a volume of material could be a factor in the length of time to earn the AA or AS. Two courses via testing per week is achievable if you apply yourself; the general education requirements met in about 8 weeks.

Why are you choosing not to transfer any prior coursework into the new degree?

Check for a testing centre nearest you, CLEP Testing Centres. If you have relatives in one of these countries, vistit them and complete the testing.

    Reason being

"Why are you choosing not to transfer any prior coursework into the new degree?"

I have a very low score in UG level and also PG and Research PG levels I hold a 2 GPA only.

    Re: Reason being

I understand your thinking. As a foreign student myself, when I transferred prior undergraduate coursework completed in Canada to Thomas Edison State College I was worried about the few Cs I had earned; most other coursework grades were B+ to A+.

On the Thomas Edison State College degree audit, the name they give their working transcript of your credits earned and planned, all my coursework completed in Canada was shown, for example, as follows:

    Course# Title S.H. Grd TESC#
95185 Intro to Discrete Structu 3.00 CR COS-261

The CR denotes credit was earned but the grade earned at the originating school does not count towards GPA calculation at the receiving school.

For credits earned at U.S. universities and/or colleges the degree audit shows, for example:

    Course# Title S.H. Grd TESC#
    MA110BA Introduction to Algebra 3.00 A MAT-121

So, foreign earned credits are not included in the GPA calculation at Thomas Edison State College. Provided the grades are better than D+, possibly better than C-(?), the credits will transfer to this school.

You will have to have your foreign earned coursework evaluated by AACRAO and then, if you decide to transfer these credits, request the results of the evaluation be sent directly to Thomas Edison State College by AACRAO.

    AACRO - evaluation

I heard AACRO would need transcripts sent directly to them by the university I attended my course at. I doubt if they would oblige. I can always send photo-copies of the transcripts I have and that way it would be easier as I cannot possibly convince the folks at the university to do these stuff as they are not used to such practices to be forthright.
