    It is now easier than ever before to apply your eCornell certificates towards a degree program.
    Dear eCornell Alumnus,

    eCornell is pleased to announce that eight eCornell Certificate Programs have been recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (CREDIT).

    eCornell certificate programs that have been recommended for college credit from ACE may be eligible to be applied to your degree program. The following eCornell certificate programs have been recommended by ACE for college credit:


    ACE CREDIT recommendations for eCornell certificates are retroactive to the date the certificate was approved by Cornell University. Ace Transcripts for eCornell certificate programs completed prior to November 30, 2006 will be available from ACE in early January 2007. Note that your "Student Identifier" when requesting your transcript will be your eCornell username, not your social security number.

    CERTIFICATE NAME NUMBER OF CREDIT HOURS
    Executive Leadership 2 semester hours in Leadership, Management, or Business Administration in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Proactive Leadership 2 semester hours in Leadership, Management, or Business Administration in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Leading Management Teams 3 semester hours in Leadership or Management in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Financial Management 2 semester hours in Principles of Finance or Financial Management in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Supervisory Skills 4 semester hours in Supervision, Management, or Business Communications in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Human Resource Studies 3 semester hours in Human Resources Management and 3 semester hours in Employment Law in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Master Certificate in the Essentials of Hospitality Management 6 semester hours in Hospitality Management in the upper division baccalaureate degree category
    Certificate in Foodservice Management 3 semester hours in Foodservice Management or Culinary Arts Management in the upper division baccalaureate degree category

    Hell no! They cost quite a bit but you get the brand name so that's worth something. The value just went up too, as an undergraduate Cornell course or two doesn't hurt the resume. This is great news!!!
