Thanks for heads-up. Do you -- or anyone else -- know of any other online Ed.S. programs at public or non-profit institutions? Particular areas of interest for the Ed.S. include educational/instructional technology, instructional design, reading/literacy education, or educational leadership. Any direction would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    lesann

Northwestern State University http://www.nsula.edu/ece/degreeprogs/ed.html is completely online, accredited, and works out to about $4,000 for the entire degree.

The University of Missouri at Columbia (MIZZOU) offers an online EdS in Educational Technology: http://sislt.missouri.edu/edspec.php

I looked very carefully at the UF program and the one at MIZZOU. Both, IMO, are a good value considering that they are good research (named) universities. The UF program is more research oriented than the MIZZOU program, but the course availability at the MIZZOU program is just great.

There are only two required courses, the rest are electives. They are offered once a year, but there are literally 15-20 electives offered each term, as well as offerings during the summer. You could definitely complete this program in a calendar year. Unlike the UF program, there is no in-residence requirement for the MIZZOU program.

I agree. Nova Southeastern University and Liberty are the best for this program. You can check this resource: Online Education Specialist Program

    Hope it helps you

Links within onlinelearning101.com are full of spyware. Are you the
    owner of this site?
