Hi, I found the University of Wyoming's EMBA program through this site. I have one question about the first requirement on their page, http://business.uwyo.edu/EXECMBA/Requirements.asp Is this saying your undergrad needs to be AACSB accredited? The "similarly" part I do not understand. Thanks, Monte
Hi Monte, Sorry I never got back to your email with any definitive answer... They probably mean that they'll consider students with other than AACSB and are leaving themselves some wriggle room. I was in a similar situation back in 1984 when I enrolled at Santa Clara University's AACSB MBA program. My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Accounting from Lubbock Christian University; they wanted me to take leveling courses for economics and statistics, even though I had already taken similar courses, but they waived all the leveling for accounting and finance. AACSB schools have specific requirements for quantitative skills. All that is to say that to really know the answer, you'll have to apply and show them your transcripts. Dave
That makes sense. They want a calculus class, which I took way too long ago, so I have already taken a Finite Math course. I am hoping this will be sufficient. Monte
They will take overseas students with 3 years bachelor's degrees. So, I would assume these aren't AACSB accredited. GT
