    Hello Everyone,

I know there is a way to finish a US bachelors degree in less than 2 years. One of the methods is doing CLEP's and DANTES. But unfortunately I live oversees. I could not finish a Bachelors degree in my younger days as I had to take care of my father's business.

I know that some of the England based MBA's are tailored for folks like me who have rich work experience however no first degree to help them go for an MBA. In such cases would Employers recognize those MBA's. Also in case I were to start right from the UG, can you guys suggest me of a country that lets one do full time job and study at the same time to accomplish his mission. I dont believe in Internet based degrees as much as I do with traditional ones.

Also in case I were to do an MBA directly without a UG, can I go on and do an MPhil or MRes with such a qualification?

I don't know whether Thomas Edison, Excelsior, or Charter Oak allow over seas enrollment. Others on this board will know better. If any of the 3 accept over seas enrollment, a degree can be completed with a combination of CLEP, DANTES, life experience (portfolio assessment), etc.

Thomas Edison, Excelsior and Charter Oak do offer enrolment to students overseas.

As for doing an MBA or any course-work only without an UG and then going on to do say PhD or any PG by research: it is possible, but you would have to present a very strong case for your research project. At least that is the case in Australia and as far as I am aware in England and NZ.

I don't understand the problem some people have with interent or distance courses especially when the course delivered online is identical to it being delivered "on the ground" to on-campus students. It is the ideal way for those of us who have to work while studying.

Alas, I learned that CLEP is not available everywhere in the world. Check out their locations here www.collegeboard.com/clep.
I have yet to find out about DANTES availablility overseas, but am not optimistic.

Royal Roads University offers an MBA in various areas such as

    Executive Management with specializations in:
    Leadership
    Management Consulting

    Digital Technologies Management

    Human Resources Management

    Public Relations and Communication Management

With the proper professional experience and a well-written application you might be able to earn a graduate degree without an undergraduate degree. As my previous posting, which is referenced above, shows direct entry into a graduate programme is possible.

How many credit hours do you have and in what areas? Review the credit hours you have and compare them to say the degree requirements at Thomas Edison State College. You can click on the appropriate undergraduate degree and then map your credit hours to those required. If you are 30 credit hours from completion, it might be to your advantage to earn an undergrduate degree prior to enrolling in a graduate degree (MBA). Alternatively, see my other posting in this thread for a possible direct entry into an MBA programme.
