I am looking for a graduate level course dealing with Psychological Assessment: involving selecting, administering and scoring of some of the standardized tests available. This is usually just a single course, not a program of study. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have in the past made some complaints that the National Assoc. of Social Workers (of which I am a member) runs ads for not-so-wonderful schools in their monthly newsletter. In the latest issue is an ad for Fielding Institute, a well respected DL school that is offering individual courses from their clinical psychology curriculum for those not matriculated in one of their degree programs. If they are not offering that particular course then you might consider trying the "usual DL suspects" such as Nova,
Saybrook, CIIS or any of the other schools that offer DL Doctoral degree programs in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.

  3. The University of Missouri offers Foundations of Educational and Psychological Measurement -- see http://cdis.missouri.edu/CourseInfo/DetailCourseInfo.asp?1798

While the course description lists both undergrad and graduate tuition, it also states "Graduate standing required."

I wonder if some educational psychology courses might fit your needs. For example, a search for "educational psychology" and graduate level at http://pluto1.petersons.com:8070/lllweb/plsql/linst$.startup turned up Foundations of Research from Indiana State University. Topics covered include scientific methodology, measurement, observation, data collection, statistical analyses, design of experiments, interpretation of and generalization from data.

Try Liberty University. They offer a DL one as part of their licensure track Counseling program.
