As I mentioned here a little while back (and took a little heat for), my school Ashford University accepts CEU's (but only in their Portfolio assessment program).

I'm trying to find some CEU courses that are preferably free, but low cost will do. Here are the courses I'm trying to satisfy:

ACC/201 / Principles of Financial Accounting

ACC/202 / Principles of Managerial Accounting

    BUS/201 / Principles of Management

    BUS/235 / Principles of Marketing

    BUS/250 / Corporate & Social Responsibility

CGD/218 / Visual Literacy in Business

ECO/100 / Survey of Contemporary Economic

If anyone knows of any CEU courses out there that match up and will allow me to get a printed certificate or transcript that details how many CEU's were earned, that would be fantastic.

Just a note: that last course listed is ECO/100 / Survey of Contemporary Economic issues

    Also looking

Good Morning, I want to add on to this thread. I am also looking for low cost Prof. Dev. courses in any area. FEMA courses are exhausted so I have hope someone has others. Thanks. Hille

    Re: Also looking

Hey Hillie, I've noticed that you've PM'ed me a few times. I didn't really see it until now.

Ashford is flexible, but they do not have a PLA program at the Associates level. If you know anyone who wishes to try them out, I would tell them to attempt to enroll first, then make the transfers before doing anything else. They do accept a lot of different types of credit/coursework in the Bachelor's level PLA.

This looks like a good start. I see one course that would help me for sure.

    Thanks!
