Since I am getting close to finishing my B.S. I have been casually checking out Graduate programs. I would be pleased if some of you knowledgeable individuals would check this program out and tell me what you think.

This is the exact route I wish to go in the future...an M.S. and MBA and this seems like a great method for achieving it. While the tuition is high for out-of-state individuals, my G.I. Bill has it covered.

It will take 3 years to complete, 2 classes per semester (or one 6 credit class), but I'm up for it. Anyone know of anyone to have gone this route?

  4. I'm not going this route but am looking into a similar "dual" program of MBA + MS in either Finance or Strategic Management.

The program you listed is "only" 36 credits which shouldn't be too bad (my MBA alone is 48, plus then 16 more for the MS assuming my MBA electives align). I'm not sure I'd classify it as "rigorous" as the other poster did but it should challenge you from two directions!

    Good luck in your search!

Actually, the program I listed is 54-60 credits.

36 for the MS and 18-24 for the MBA depending on which route you choose.

The MS has to be completed first, then you start on 3-4 six-credit MBA classes.
