    It's Great

    Hi.

I'm currently going after a BA in Intel studies with an IR minor and a cert in terrorism studies.

I transferred in from a B&M school where people told me what I wanted to do did not exist and was crazy. I found AMU and am proving all of them wrong. It is a WONDERFUL place. The classes are specialized and relevant. The professors are accessible and for the most part the top in their field, and or have enough interesting personal experiences to sit back in awe and make you think "wow... can't believe more people don't know about this place" Some of the classes are not for the faint of heart though, but that's what makes it fun for me. I love to actually put my brain matter to use. :D I've learned more here in a few months then I did in two years at a B&M school, and my grades are so much better because I am happy, and have the flexibility I need. The 8 week sessions and helpful admin are great too... even though there has been a bit of a lag in this area since getting the RA as they are still trying to put some ducks in a row.

The classes are generally no harder nor easier than anywhere else I've studied. A difference here from typical B&M is that these folks have walked the walk and they seem to really know their stuff from first hand experience.

The price is right - as DL master's programs go - I can't complain about the costs; which I pay for myself.

There are offerings here that you won't find too many other places. And, they're RA now!

I currently go to APU (same as AMU) and had 87 out of the possible 90 credits transfer in. I, so far, am finding them quite a bit easier than my previous online courses but I am also taking pretty simple classes.
