    Hey all,
New to the board. Alot to read here, I've learned so much already.

Grateful for advice for my specific situation...
Please bear with me as I give some background and my questions:

I'm a U.S. citizen, but currently working overseas firmly established in a good career with Shell.
I've been asked/offered to move to Africa to work for 3-4 years.

My issue is that I don't have a University degree, and can't get a work permit without one in Nigeria. (though I was able to in Malaysia and the Netherlands, go figure)

Hence I have great motivation to complete a degree in as little time as possible. I will be transferring in 12-20 freshmen level credits.

I believe I can get by with an Associates degree in any discipline, in order to get the work permit.
But, since I a putting forth the effort, would like to finish off the entire Bachelors.

    I have a few questions:
When receiving credits by exams, if I sent those credits to say 2 of the big 3, would I be able to fulfill 2 seperate degree programs in parallel?
In essence I would be using the same credits for different programs at different instituions. Is this plausible, is this ethical?

My main urgency is to get an Associates degree ASAP.
Using Excelsior as an example, I'm interested to pursue their BA with a major in Psychology to use the GRE subject exam.
They have comments on their website that their Psychology degree requirements will change as of Jan 1st 2007.
If I enrolled now, but then 'graduated' with an Associates degree first, then re-enrolled to complete the Psych degree in 2007, which set of requirements would I need to meet? The new requirements for 2007 or the old? (and does anyone know what the new requirements will be?)

I've looked at testing center's and it appears to me that CLEP and GRE are available in Malaysia and the Netherlands (where I will be), but Dantes and ECE are not. Does anyone know of a resource that lists a way to complete all requirements with CLEP and GRE so that I don't need to complete any ECE or Dantes? Not sure how I am going to work around the written requirement from Excelsior yet either.

I've written part of this query to Excelsior already, but have yet to receive a response.

    Thoughts?

    m.s.

    1) No, I don't believe the same credits can be used for 2 differant degrees earned simultaneously.

    2) Depending on the credits you already have, the fastest path to a degree at the Associate level would be the Assocoate of Applied Science (Occupational Studies) from TESC. FEMA credits can be used for much of the core and all of the electives for this degree.

    3) I can't help you with the CLEP/DANTES questions...sorry.
