    HI All,

I did a portfolio assessment at TESC & COSC and I am very pleased with the results. I also did an APL from the former Migs (CEU or whatever) and got a lot of prior learning credit from them as well.

Now, I am applying for a promotion based on credits that I received from TESC and I don't quite know how to give myself recognition for the courses on the portfolio. I plan to finish up at TESC or COSC shortly but the position that is available is well within the credit assessment provided by TESC. I think a proper wording is:

Enrolled in Degree Program at TESC with 24 hours of Accounting/Bookkeeping Earned through Portfolio.

How's That? Hopefully, the HR people know what the Heck TESC is and don't throw out my resume' thinking its not a valid school. Well, wish me luck and give me advice on how to recognize the credit.

    Respectfully,

    Dev

For validation, you might want to enclose a sealed copy of your TESC transcript. This will list all the credit you've received, regardless of how you've earned it. Just request an official copy of your transcript be sent to you. When it arrives, *don't open it*, just include it with your application materials.

I wouldn't be too concerned with your HR people, there are many hundreds of RA degree granting institutions in the US, there is no way anyone could know all of them. TESC can be validated with a simple phone call. Best of luck.
