Top 500 Universites/Colleges by enrollment

    Recently overheard between and among the anti-UOP/Capella, etc... crowd...."UOP #1. No way. It must be a for-profit conspiracy. You know....they are paying these guys to rank them #1 besides none of the big three are listed here so I know it is a conspiracy" <cheesy snicker, snicker>

    It should say top 500 by enrollment in the U.S., as there are many universities abroad that would top even glimeber's beloved University of Phoenix.

    And another thing, where's University of Maryland University College? I thought they were number two in the U.S. in enrollment, behind UoP?

    UMUC is #75 with an enrollment of 27,429.

    SteveFoerster is right, the list is for TOP 500 US colleges/universities by enrollment.

    I think it is possible. Have you ever experienced their marketing strategies? I remembered I filed out the information on the website about their Military Associate degree. I received about 3 phone calls per day for couple weeks. I know most of the Military Personnels attend University of Phoenix. Besides, when I went to take the CLEP at one of their campus; I saw lot of people too. Also, they have more campuses than any other universities, and plus online learning methods.

    Not "my beloved" UOP my friend. Don't attend there, never have, never will. Have never taught there, never will, nor do I intend to do so. I just enjoy watching everyone else's blood pressure go up when I point out the absurdity of most of their arguments.
