Does anyone out there know if American Public University takes FEMA credit? If so, do they require a transcript from FEMA, a TESC transcript or a Fedricksburg transcript?

I think others on ths forum have successfully transferred FEMA credits into APU/AMU (APUS). Unfortunately, the search feature seems to be malfunctioning these days. Send APUS an email; the school is the best source of information.

  6. I think that they do, they also take docnet courses which I think are a little easier and are free, not free like how you have to pay for a credit bank or anything, APU and AMU take time for no charge.

I have a couple of questions regarding docnet courses:
1- Do AMU or APUS provide credit banking?
2- If yes do you think that Docnet Courses can be transfered to Excelsior via credit AMU or APUS credit banking
    Thank you much

  8. I called them about 6 months ago and they told me that they do not credit bank, you actually have to take courses with them and then they would give you credit for them, as for if excelsior would take them, I have no clue. I would imagine but AMU told me that they are only applied as general electives and cannot be use towards any major.

Does the FEMA courses count only towards electives? or is there a BA for them? Are they accepted at state run universities?
