A couple of years ago I posted a question about Amberton University where my wife attends. "Mary" answered and offered some sound advice. I don't know if she's still on this forum. My wife has to take a course in RESEARCH METHODS. Two instructors are available. Parker or Watson? Any advice appreciated on the pros or cons of either.
You're probably talking about Marylars. I don't know if she's actively posting, but this is what came up on a search including her name. You might want to try a PM to see if she's still here. Dave
Hi JHatz, I have actually not posted here in ages, but for some reason I came back to peruse the board tonight. I wish I could give you a firm answer to your question, but I have not yet taken the Research Methods class and I have not taken a class yet from either of the profs who teach it. (I am putting it off, as I hear the class is a bear and I want to make sure that I take it during a term when I am certain I will have ample time to devote to the research project.) There is another guy on here, though (or at least he used to be here when I used to post) named Ultimale. He has completed his degree from Amberton and would probably be able to give your wife better insight than I can. One other way that I try to determine which prof I want for a particular class is by researching their syllabi for the class and by reading the Amberton message board to get the opinions of other students. Sorry I could not be of any real help... Mary
