Northcentral University DBA in Finance

I'm interested to talk with someone who has taken the Finance specialization classes at Northcentral University. I would be interested to learn if the content of these courses are application or research oriented. Have you found the work required intensive? I work full time and I'm teaching part-time and don't want to overwhelm myself.
