The Saint Luke School of Medicine has filed a lawsuit against the Liberian Government for damages.

St. Luke in its pleading to the Civil Law Court said the government should pay more than one hundred million United States Dollars as general damage.

Saint Luke also sued the government to pay more than five hundred thousand United States Dollars as special damage.

The School alleged that government subjected it to public ridicule and hardship through organized campaigns.

The Administration of the school further alleged that government ignored all instruments, accreditation and articles of incorporation.

Saint Luke argued that government’s direct conduct has caused the credibility of the institution to be questioned in some quarters.
