On tuition, American Military University and Southwest University both charge $250/hour for a 36-hour program, or $9000. Ashworth charges $3000 first semester's tuition, so since there are three semesters in the program, we are left to assume they to go for $9000. Columbia Southern charges $240/hour for a 36-hour program, or $8640. Andrew Jackson University (WINNER!!! WINNER!!! WINNER!!!) charges total tuition of $6804 for a 36-hour program, so we are left to infer a tuition rate of $189/hour.

Oops...I botched the tuition at Ashworth! Andrew jackson is the big winner at $6804. The question would really be whether American Military University would be worth the additional $2100...they are also RA, an added bonus.

The following school does not offer Criminal Justice Masters. However, Aspen University (www.aspen.edu) is offering for a limited time, a discounted tuition. Tuition is only $4200 for the entire Masters program if it is paid entirely upfront and it is only for new students. I've never attended Aspen and I'm not endorsing them. Just saying it's the cheapest at this time. :)

    Just a personal follow-up here.

Although CSU gets $240.00 per C.H. (graduate level) all books are INCLUDED in that price. Knowing the costs of books these days I would believe that is a great benefit in itself reducing the overall costs by approximately $1500 - $2000 bucks.

I plan to enroll @ CSU in October.
