    From my alumni newsletter:

The University of North Dakota has received approval from the State Board of Higher Education to offer an online Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology degree program. This is the only MA in forensic psychology to be offered online by a nationally recognized, fully accredited university. Beginning in fall 2006, UND will offer the online program to help feed the rapidly growing specialty area of psychology. Forensic psychology broadly refers to the application of psychological theory, knowledge, skills and competencies to the civil and criminal justice systems. The Department of Psychology in the UND College of Arts and Sciences worked with the UND Division of Continuing Education to design and deliver the graduate program targeted for working professionals.

I have not checked the school website for any further details.

Thanks a lot Dr Rene, for such a great news. I'm a student of Psychology myself and was searching for such online education on this subject for a long time but could not find one. I'm very much interested in this matter and I would be obliged if you can give a bit detailed information about this school website.

Note: UND offers both traditional correspondence (e.g. paper-based) and online degree programs. The MA in Forensic Psychology is offered online. It looks like the only on-campus requirement is a two week capstone course in North Dakota at the end of the program. Very interesting program.

    Good luck!
