Tom; Good for your friend. What geographic region? Sometimes there are incentives for accepting employment in poor performing or hard to fill school districts. Just a thought . Dave

There is a relatively small $1,000 scholarship by the American School Counselor Association but only if she goes full-time: If she isn't working and can spend time on campus, there is, of course, teaching and research grants given by almost every grad school.
