Possible grant money for masters degree

A good friend of mine asked me if I knew of any sources for possible grant money to earn a masters degree. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Her masters degree would be in guidence counseling K-12

Good for your friend. What geographic region? Sometimes there are incentives for accepting employment in poor performing or hard to fill school districts. Just a thought .

She lives and works in central Florida.

I appriciate any advice you can give me pertaining to grants or extended financing for her degree. I know she is interested in staying in the same area.

There is a relatively small $1,000 scholarship by the American School Counselor Association but only if she goes full-time:

If she isn't working and can spend time on campus, there is, of course, teaching and research grants given by almost every grad school. The other problem with this is that the majority of these grants go to PhD students.
