Has anyone had experience with this school or the certification? I'm curious about the utility of the CLP certification in the commercial and public sector. The web page addresses this but I'm always interested in opinions from outside sources.

I'm active duty military and TA covers the courses. I'm curious if anyone else from DOD has taken these courses and gotten the books covered under the certification tuition program.

It really depends on what you intend to make of it, but in Government circles (particularly a Major Command such as AFMC) logistics expertise is in high demand.

I'm USAF as well, retiring in a year, and I have an older Acquisition Logistics (Level 2) certification, and it seems to draw as much notice on resumes as any of the academic credentials.

TA rules for certification are more flexible than for regular college courses (I've seen people spend the entire $4,500 dollar cap at once on programs). It may well be possible to have the books covered, but your base education office would have to make that determination.

    Best of luck to you!
