Hello All! I wonder if anyone can share your thoughts on the "Certified Manager" credential. Here's the weblink:

Is it recognized? Has any value? Are the study materials & exams difficult (masters-level)? How does it compare with other management professional certifications like Certified Business Manager, Certified Project Manager, Certified
    HR Manager? Or Certified MBA?

The CMA/CFM are too finance specific & rigorous, I'm looking for professional certifications with less stringent requirements which would improve my chance of career advancement to general management level.

Hope to get some valuable feedbacks.

It seems to be associated with James Madison University's college of business (AACSB) - But I don't know what it means for the certification's stature. The head of the organization is the dean of the COB at JMU.
