Excelsior,charter oak or baker college

I was wondering, If anyone on this forum has taken Excelsior college "Bachelor of Information Technology" program in any concentration. I have few questions actually alot. okay

1. I currently hold an US equivalent of "Associate of applied science in computer programming" which is like 64 credit.

and

32 lower level credit for undergrad.

I had applied to Excelsior , charter oak and baker college.

currently colleges are working on giving me a final word what else is required and how long it will take.

I wanted to know what is the difficulty level of courses in above courses. Does it involve lot of project work. Although i did my college in Canada I undertand things can be sometime hectic and breeze depending upon the subject and assignments.

Please give me an insight. I am also looking into info if anyone has ever transferd associate to bachelors how much they have awarded them. I am also thinkin of doing some CLEP exams.

That is great that you already have your associate degree. From my understanding, there is no difference in the AS degree you have from a US one. You can use it on your resume and say AS computer science from whatever university.

What you really need to be concerned about is how many credits total that you have (after the evaluations from the three colleges you mentioned) and what you will need to do to fill the rest of your requirements (including taking upper level credit into account).
After you get the evaluations back from the schools, take a look at the requirments for the IT program for each college. and see which one works the most with the credit that is awarded.

I agree with you what you just told. But basically I was thinking to get an answer if anyone has acutally taken any computer degree program in Excelsior or any other colleges, I have mentioned. How was the experience. I see lot of post about Arts degree but not about computers.

I would appreciate if someone can answer me on that.

I am finishing up at Excelsior now. Mine was the old BS/CIS program. It was a perfect fit for what I needed. I have no complaints with them at all.
