Hi All, Im applying to to several Business schools that require college-level statistics as a prerequisite for admissions. Can anyone recommend some reputable online/correspondence Statistics courses? I prefer something that I can complete at my own speed (i.e, not something that coincides with typical fall and summer college semesters). Many thanks in advance, Nat
http://www.correspondencestudy.ufl.edu/college.asp?Course=737 and http://www.correspondencestudy.ufl.edu/college.asp?Course=632 Both you can start anytime. I would also check BYU.
A comprehensive listing of DL math courses, including statistics: http://www.dantescatalogs.com/DISC/SubjectAreaInfoDetail.asp?Report=PC&RecID=14
haven't taken it, but it looks good http://ce.byu.edu/courses/univ/695252221014/public/start.htm http://ce.byu.edu/is/site/courses/description.cfm?subject=124&course=STAT221Principles%2520of%2520Statisticswversion it keeps cutting off the link directly above, so paste this in your browser ce.byu.edu/is/site/courses/description.cfm?subject=124&course=STAT221Principles%2520of%2520Statisticswversion also http://www.ohiou.edu/independent/desc_sht/math250d.htm http://www.ohiou.edu/independent/list2.htm#math
Thanks for the feedback everyone. These courses look great. How long do these courses usually take to complete? Also, any other ideas or options before I move forward with a decision. Thanks again.
DSST has a test for Statistics that has a grade assigned to it and is worth 3 college credits if you pass. Also www.learner.org has a series of videos that will help on the exam. I think it's called by the numbers.
