    Is any aware of a distance doctoral degree in Ethics or closely related to Ethics? Not Bioethics but perhaps Corporate Ethics or something similar.

    Or a PhD in Public Affairs.

    US or British area schools.

    Many options..

    There are many options...

    UK and South African offerings would likely give you the most flexibility in your studies / research, but may require travel to the campus.

    Most US programs are quite structured and may only partially fit your needs (Walden, Capella, etc.).

    One of the better US options might be Regent U:

    Regent University -- www.regent.edu
    Organizational and Leadership Studies
    "The Center for Leadership Studies offers both the Ph.D. and M.A. in organizational leadership primarily via the Internet. Minimal residency time may be required at our campus located in Virginia Beach, Virginia."

    =====================================

    Consider also these:
    ____________________________________________

    Aston University -- Aston Business School
    Birmingham, West Midlands B4 7ET England, U.K.

    ======

    University of Exeter -- Centre for Leadership Studies
    Redruth, Exeter, TR15 3SE UK

    ======

    University of Leicester Management Center

    and

    The Centre for Labour Market Studies
    http://www.clms.le.ac.uk/

    ======

    University of Newcastle, Aust.
    http://www.newcastle.edu.au/

    ======

    University of Natal
    Faculty of Management Studies -- Leadership Studies
    Pietermaritzburg Center, Private Bag X01 Scottsville
    Pietermaritzburg, 3209 South Africa
    http://www.ukzn.ac.za/

    ======

    And don't forget about Unisa
    University of South Africa
    http://www.unisa.ac.za/
    Possible options with school of Mgmt, or Philosophy

    PhD Ethics

    Thank you for your very detailed and very well received response. I am and have forever been interested in Regent University's Strategic Leadership program but getting them to send me an application is like pulling an aligator's teeth while he is trashing around. I have called a ton of times, they have made a ton of excuises and to date, some year later, I still have not received an application. I guess they are not interested in any more applicants. Anyway, I am checking out your suggestions as we speak.

    Obliged,

    Regent U, et al..

    If still interested in Regent, you might go to:

    http://www.regent.edu/acad/sls/admissions/requirements.htm

    then click on:

    Further admissions requirements ...... which opens a small window with additional links to the PDF file / forms you will need to apply.

    If interested in Regent, would you be open to studying leadership / org studies under a theology faculty? If so, I can offer some additional options.

    Very Interested

    I would be very interested and very thankful for any help you can extend. I just hate having to wait until next summer to begin my PhD program. So much time would have passed when I could have taken at least a couple classes toward my goals. Very frustrating since I have already officially withdrawn from Charles Sturt University.

    Other options..

    Here are a few more options..... you will have to check with them for specifics, but I believe there is still time to apply for admission.

    In some instances, the smaller the school, the more willing they are to work with potential students.

    ================================

    http://www.gschooltheol.com

    Greenwich School of Theology is located and accredited in the UK, and works in a unique relationship with Northwest University -- South Africa.

    The doctorate will cost about $10,000 US, plus at least one trip to the UK for graduation.

    They are perhaps your best option right now.

    ============

    St. John's might be another good option.
