All, I have an officer interested in either an Associates Degree in Management or Business Administration. However this officer is not excited about having to take a lot of mathematics, thus the AS in Management may be a better idea. For the life of me I cannot find an inexpensive RA school that has an AS or AA in Management. Any suggestions?
I would try Excelsior I think they offer an AS in Lineral Arts but am not sure- a concentration could be in business management I'm sure in that case. A career college on line may also be a good choice I heard of a few I would look for NA schools as well if a terminal AS degree.
Vincennes University (http://www.vinu.edu/FutureStudents/Adult_PartTime/fullprogra.aspx) offers both an AS in Business administration as well as an AAS in Business Studies. The tuition isn't bad, IIRC.
Take a look at Online Degree Reviews at www.onlinedegreereviews.org/college/cat/business-and-mba/management . So far they've listed: Central Texas College www.ctcd.edu Empire State College www.esc.edu Northern Virginia Community College www.nvcc.vccs.edu Westmoreland Community College www.westmoreland.cc.pa.us with more to come!
Mountain State University offers an AS in Business-Management. It is RA, online, and from what I hear, reasonably priced.
Warning: Northern Virginia Community College is very good, but my recollection from last year is that most of their "Extended Learning Institute" (i.e., distance) courses have examinations that must be taken in person. -=Steve=-
Why not consider Penn Foster? They are NA but also ACE evaluated so the credits should be easily accepted almost anywhere. Pug
You might want to check this thread as well - at least a couple of the schools mentioned have business administration offerings, and dirt cheap (RA). http://forums.degreeinfo.com/showthread.php?threadid=24928&highlight=san+juan Dave
