  1. In my pursuit of fast credits I have taken many clep and dantes exams, I just dont know what I should take next, here are the ones I have taken so far:

    Ethics In America
    Here's To Your Health
    Information Systems & Computer Applications
    Introduction to Computing
    Principles of Supervision
    Introduction to Business
    Principles of Management
    Fundamentals of Counseling
    Technical Writing
    Management Information Systems
    Introductory Sociology
    Introduction to Law Enforcement
    Criminal Justice
    Social Science and History

I Still have a lot more to take but what do you guys think? Where should i go from here. I haven't taken and excelsior exams I am a little nervous about them, mainly because I have never taken any and you have to score a little higher on them. Any suggestions are welcomed. thanks guys

I hear that Interpreting Literature (or something like that) is supposed to be pretty simple.

I see a lot of I.T. exams. You will need to be careful not to take exams which act as duplicates. This is up to the receiving institution.

You will need math, science and English eventually, so I'd focus on getting those requirements met.

How tough was the MIS? What materials did you study?
    Thanks.

  4. I took it only studying the test outline, and looked up what everything ment. I dont know how i did so well on it i really know very little about MIS but I think the vocab is what made me pass it.

  5. I already took and english comp class along with a few others, Next I think is some kind of science and maybe statistics. I am planning on going to Excelsior so hopefully they are generous on not duplicating my credits. What science exams werent that difficult?

The CLEP Natural Sciences general exam wasn't too hard for me. (6)

The CLEP Biology subject was pretty thorough but not all that difficult (compared to say Money and Banking). (6)

Honestly, at the point you're at, it's an individual issue now. Just because I found the German pretty simple doesn't mean that you will. :)

I will say that the Analyzing and Interpreting Literature was pretty easy as exams go.

Remember, if you're going to go with Excelsior, the CLEP/DANTES English Comp. exams will not meet the Excelsior written English requirement.

I didn't find the Excelsior exams any harder than any others. Actually, I'd place them in difficulty between the DANTES and CLEP with the DANTES being easier...

Statistics has been the bane of my academic career. I have a wife that taught stats at Old Dominion in Norfolk (and she frustrated herself on me), I've used those silly DVD's that Ralph Malph put together. I've read stats for (fill it in), stats made easy. I finally got through a sit-down stats class by the skin of my teeth. Brutal stuff for me. I hope it goes much better for you. Based on your testing results you seem fairly bright, so at least you got that going for you.

Agreed. This is the one I suggested my wife take first when she was getting into credit by examination.
