http://trinity-college.edu/index.html What is the story with Trinity? I can't work them out. They do have an .EDU domain name, but are they an illegal entity, a mill, or just a lenient uni? Thank you CFr
Nor would it be worth the effort to do so Another instance of the .edu suffix not being an invariably reliable indicator of legitimacy. There are dozens of threads about TC&U on this forum, and probably hundreds in the AED archives at groups.google.com . ------------------ Bill Gossett
Trinity is indeed lenient--they have awarded doctorates for dissertations of only a few pages. Russell
A few months ago, I watched as a friend filled out their on-line application on a Saturday evening, total of 87 words, none of the 'facts' true, and on Sunday morning, he was offered a Master of Education degree to be issued the moment his check cleared or credit card was charged.
Wow, John! A M.Ed. in only 12 hours, with an 87 word "thesis?" Now this is truly an accomplishment. Russell
Another instance of the .edu suffix not being an invariably reliable indicator of legitimacy. [/B][/QUOTE] It may be a reliable indicator for legitimate UK universities (.ac.uk) and Australian universities (.edu.au).
