TAMU-Commerce MBA students' and grads' experience?

Hi, I'm a new member, long-time lurker. I graduated from TESC (BSBA 'o1) and my time made easier by experiences of posters. I have recently applied and will soon start the TAMU-Commerce MBA at the end of the month. I have seen posts by students and alumni of the program and am interested to hear specifics of their experiences. I am currently registerd for Applied Business Research. What should I expect? I am not especially impressed with their communication so far.

What is the format of classes?
Advisor told me that most students take 6 credits. What is that course load like?
Should I be scared of Accounting, Finance or Statistics.
