I've taught on-line for Baker for 5 years. At least one of the regulars here graduated from their on-line MBA program and is now working on a doctorate.

They use BlackBoard and have done a pretty reasonable job of running a compressed schedule (6 week) MBA program. Many of their faculty are former (or current) UoP folks. I believe you'll find them a bit more reasonable on price - and somewhat more focused on education, less on profit that UoP.

    Thanks - Andy

A good, regionally accredited private school with many online IT-related programs.

That would be me. Yes, I completed the Baker MBA program in June of 2000. I found the program challenging and rewarding, albiet compressed.

As I indicated in another post about Baker College, I will be happy to discuss the program offline. I believe it more appropriate to address specifics about the program through email with the one or two folks that are ready to make a move. You may reach me at [email protected]

    Bill,

I wonder if you could answer 3 quick questions:

1: How long did it take to complete their program. I notice it is 60 cr hours, which is a bit more than most I have looked at.

2: What was their cost per cr hour?

3: Did they require a GMAT?

The entire program took about 18 months. Those are quarter hours, not semester hours. 60 qtr hrs = 40 sem hrs. Tuition is (was) $60 per QH which comes to $14100. GMAT may help with admission but is not required. I entered without it.

Bill - Thanks for the info. I have been taking a few Masters level courses in anticipation of being formally admitted to a MBA (or the like) program.

I have been accepted at Central Michigan for their MSA program - but am still 'shopping'

I must have flunked the math component in school -- tuition is $235 per QH, which still comes to $14100
