Does anyone on this forum have information on the above named school- Golden State School of Theology? Any help that you can provide is appreciated. Grad95
Yes, I know quite a bit about the school. I did about 54 semester hours with them at the undergrad level and have spoken with Dr. Graves, the president, numerous times. They are not accredited but they have aspirations to one day get there. They are an affiliate member of the ABHE (highly regarded national accreditor for Bible colleges). They've made a lot of positive changes over the years to improve their courses. Some of the courses are quite easy and others quite challenging, not unlike other colleges I've attended. Each student is assigned a mentor to guide them through courses. My experience with the mentors has been extremely good in terms of their knowledge, response time to emails, and motivation. I inquired with several accredited colleges as to the possibility of transferring GSST credits. Two accredited schools accepted 1/2 the credit I earned, denying only those courses of a secular nature (english, history, etc.). Are you considering GSST for enrollment? If so, at what level? What are your ultimate goals? Pug
