When I was blogging today I started to think about how fortunate we are to have access to technology that allows us to overcome limitations and pursue higher education in ways not previously dreamed... I also wondered allowed what would great educational leaders of the past like Horace Mann think about this new revolution called distance learning? Would he praise it as a vehicle to deliver education to those who would have previously been unable to partake, or would he blast the medium for disconnecting students from the live, in-person classroom experience? WWHMT? What would Horace Mann think?
