If the Doctorate of Philosophy is a PhD, why isn’t the Doctorate of Business Management a BAD?

Oh ya, also, what are the opinions about if RA vs NA will matter in 20 years?

PhD is the Latin abbreviation, standardized back when use of Latin was a symbol of the well educated. DBAs came about after that was no longer really the case.

Interestingly, though, no less an institution than Oxford calls it a DPhil, not a PhD.

I think so. No one is ever going to look at ACCSCT schools and equate them with even Tier 4 regionally accredited schools. Even if not, though, then something else will have risen to take its place in distinguishing the wheat from the chaff.
