I am in the process of transferring some credits to TAMUC from FIU. I have Grades are 3.78 and 4 in those courses. What will be my grades at TAMUC? Will the destination school honor the grades from FIU and retain them on my Transcript?
Some schools do use your entire academic history when calculating for honors though. I've known more than a few people transfer schools in the third and early fourth year in order to eliminate some bad grades from their transcript. Fs don't generally go with you at all and often a D won't either. It's a way some students are able to bluf their way to a higher GPA (and some financial aid)...
