I need to finish my BS or BA in accounting. I have a AS in accounting that I started in 1985 and finished in 1995 from the local junior college. I have a total of 86 hours. Any suggestions on where to go?

I'm taking classes at NAU. My background is electronics, which they don't have, but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
The tuition is real high but if you qualify for a scholarship from them the true cost gets lower. After their active duty military scholarship, and tuition assistance, and pelgrant I don't even need GI Bill top-up.

Thomas Edison State College offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with an Accounting Major. Excelsior College offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting. Either one should accept your transfer credit if it is from an accredited school. They will also let you use proficiency exams to meet a lot of the requirements.

If you decide to go with either of these schools and need to find courses to fulfill the requirements, LSU (Louisana State) has a good selection of accounting courses through correspondence, and they are priced very reasonably (I think about $225 per 3 sh course).
