I wanted to thank everybody for their advice and suggestions!!! I have been reviewing my program at Ellis and have rediscovered the reasons why I chose it in the first place: B&M association and regionally accredited Courses developed by Top Schools (A big plus) Very intuitive web interface with many online collaboration and research tools. Specialization courses match career The program is actually very well designed and challenging, although I think they need to update some content. It's just there is too much info to learn and absorb in 6 weeks. I have taken all of my courses w/o breaks and doubled-up in the last 4 courses. Adding this load to a busy work schedule has made the past 1.5 years somewhat of a blur. But I've read that an MBA is a general management degree and that's what I needed and what I got. It is up to me to figure out what to do with it. As for the post-grad certs, I am considering this maybe beginning in 2007. My MBA program ends in September and I am going to take a little break, maybe update some of my IT certs (Microsoft, CompTIA). I'm starting to like the idea of info securiting and auditing/assurance. Sincerely, Q_c
Good luck to you! Lots of us, I'm sure, can identify with the blur of grad school+work+life treadmill. Graduation is just around the corner for you.
