And I have to note at the outset that this is University of Huddersfield, who have as their Chancellor none other than Patrick Stewart of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame.

    On to the MA:

For those interested in such things, the University of Huddersfield is offering a MA in Modern English Language by DL. It's a 2 year program.

Huddersfield also offers their LLB by distance learning through Holborn College:

This information about qualifying to take the New York Bar though a post LLB course at Holborn looks very interesting:

"Since 1996, Holborn College has been offering a three month New York Bar Review course whereby the students attend live lectures on a part-time basis with a flexible weekend class schedule. Additionally, the College runs a flexible distant learning program for students who are unable to attend the live weekend lectures."

Does anybody know more about it?
