    Hey guys,

I'm new on this board, thinking about getting a bachelors degree online. I want to get a loan for it and I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience w/educational loans and could give me some advice? Like which ones besides the federal ones are good and how to pick and choose between all the different banks and random places that lend (so confusing!) What should I consider when I'm picking? Sorry I have no idea how this works, thanks ahead of time!

    Welcome to the board.

I've used Sallie Mae's Federal student loan program as well as their Career Training program for all of my student loans. I'd highly recommend you check them out. Link below.

The biggest factor in deciding between lenders (for me) was the focus of the institution...Sallie Mae provides student loans and that is their business. In addition, they used to be a government sponsored entity (although they are no longer that).

I've found that Sallie Mae is able to offer loans to more people than companies like Wells Fargo or Citibank.

Lastly, they are also must easier to deal than the others that I've worked with.

All of my student loans have been a FAFSA loan (Federal Student Aid) so I haven't really had much experience one-on-one with Citi, Chase, etc...but I will say that I am 100% satisfied with all my interactions with Salle Mae.

They do. The SLM Financial program available at NCU is through the Sallie Mae Career Training loan program.
