How to select the course that best fits your goals:
Select the university specialization module that is closest to your interests.
Each Faculty offers a selection ranging from 10 to 30 specialization modules.
Each module provides a list of its courses / subjects. Review these lists and choose the subject or course that best fits your needs.

How to enroll in a course:
You may enroll at any time in the year and from anywhere in the world. You will need to fill out the Course Enrollment Application, which is different from the degree programs official Application for Admission. You will also need to submit all the required data and payment information. Please send your application by fax to +34915219827 or by email to [email protected].

    How to start your course:
Once you submit your application, BIU will proceed to charge the corresponding course fee according to the payment plan you selected. Once the payment is confirmed, BIU will notify you of your admission into the course and will send you a receipt of the charged amount. Your course textbook will then be ordered.
The cost of this text is inclusive of the course fee.

You will be required to write a report on the assigned textbook. The shipping of the ordered text may take one to four weeks. You will receive the text at your home with instructions to complete the course requirements.

    The study process:
You will be required to write a 10 to 15 page report on the assigned course textbook. The BIU Study Guide, originally designed for degree program instruction, will also be applicable and necessary for your use. This is because the pedagogical method, evaluation process, tutoring and other are valid and useful toward your course program. The two exceptions are:

    1. One text: You are assigned only one text per course or even a part of the text as the study material from which your report will be extracted. Further details on this requirement are provided through your Academic Assignment Control Form (AAC Form).

    2. One 10 to 15 page report is required, as opposed to the larger page requirement for degree programs. In addition, the Table of Contents should fit on one page only. Upon request and subsequent authorization, the report may be focused on a very specific part of the assigned textbook or in the exposition of a case study. The remaining instructions of the Study Guide will apply to you.

    Submitting your work:
Once you have finished your required report, you must send it by email in PDF format to [email protected] or via mail. Your work will take three weeks for the marking process as described in the Study Guide. Once the evaluation of your work is complete, there will be two outcomes:

Failure: BIU will inform you of the reasons why your work failed and will indicate the aspects that require improvement. You will be asked to rewrite your report with these aspects in mind and to resubmit it. BIU will accept the submission of your report up to three times. If after the third submission your report has not reached the minimum passing grade, you will have failed the course and BIU will not certify any credits.

Approval: BIU will proceed to issue the certificate of earned BIU credits and IACET CEU's, which is sealed by BIU and IACET. The process of certificate production takes approximately three weeks. Therefore, the time duration upon submitting your report until you receive your certificate of course completion and earned credits should be approximately seven weeks.

    Duration of course:
The average duration of course completion ranges from one to three months from when you receive your textbook at home. BIU establishes a maximum term of 12 months for course completion starting on the date of the application for course enrollment. In the case that no work has been submitted after 12 months, BIU will consider your withdrawal from the course.

    How to cancel your course:
BIU degree programs refund policy is not applicable to the course programs.

All other student rights and obligations are applicable. The course cancellation and refund policy is: You must notify in writing your request to cancel the course and send it via email to [email protected] or by mail. BIU will refund 70% of the course fee if the cancellation request is received within the 30 days following the shipment of the course textbook. The textbook must be returned in perfect condition with the cancellation request, otherwise the cost of the textbook will be automatically discounted from the refund due. After the 30-day refund term, no refunds will be available.

Stay away from BIU. There are a number of legitimate RA/NA schools offering good programs.
BIU has been extensively discussed here.
