Ok guys, so, what are the good schools online for ELECTRONICS engineering Technology?

I just want to learn about electronics and become proficient at the skill. I think it will complement my Telecommunications Technology degree well and I will be done with that in a year or so.

I know Excelsior is ABET, which is awsome, but no tuition reimbursement.

Any other ABET Programs that are online (Tried reading their school list on site, too many B&M mixed in, cant tell the online ones)

Are there any good schools out there that are not ABET, but just a good school for this subject?

    thanks!

If you want to get NICET Certification as a CET - Certified Engineering Technologist - you need a TAC/ABET-accredited BSET/BSEET.
TAC/ABET is not the only legitimate accrediting agency for Technology degrees. NAIT - www.nait.org - accredits BSIT "Industrial Technology" degrees - some of them with a concentration in Computer and/or Electronics Technology. Several of these programs are largely on-line - but maybe none are totally on-line.
Grantham "University" (used to be the more credible "Grantham College") has a legitimate on-line Electronics BSET with a decent reputation, though it is only DETC-accredited.

    On-Line BSIT Electronics Engineering Technology

I just got this from the Director of East Carolina U's BSIT. This is a degree completion BSIT - not specifically in "Electronics" though there is an "Information & Computer Technology" concentration. You can still advance your AAS into a BSIT in "Electronics" assuming there is sufficient electronics in the AAS and you top it up with Electronics free electives.

    Thanks Kalos, appreciate it.

I am in the cellular telecommunications industry. So I am more focused on Electronics Engineering Technology with a strong focus on Circuits and Consumer electronics as apposed to industrial type of electronics.

Also interested in getting a good grasp of Electricity, grounding, Color codes for wiring, etc.

I am definetly looking more at the vocational Applicable side of Electronics/Electricity, not the theory of an electrical Engineering Degree.

I did state that these where not RA or ABET/TAC Schools

    Cleveland Institute of Electronics http://www.cie-wc.edu/

    Penn Foster http://www.pennfostercollege.edu/

    World College http://www.worldcollege.edu/

    Grantham Unversity http://www.grantham.edu/

however I think they would serve firstmode4c perpose

"am in the cellular telecommunications industry. So I am more focused on Electronics Engineering Technology with a strong focus on Circuits and Consumer electronics as apposed to industrial type of electronics"

    CIT/CSIT Certification

Frank's "CSIT" designation might be of interest to some people.
CSIT is the acronym for "Certified Senior Industrial Technologist". The CIT/CSIT system was set up by NAIT when NICET refused to recognize BSIT degrees for the purpose of CET - "Certified Engineering Technologist" .

    From the NAIT website - www.nait.org :
