I am one course away from graduating from TESC. (Thank God) I am active duty military and take online classes everywhere to fulfill my requirements for TESC. The school never helped or advised me where to find certain courses.
I need: Global/International Marketing worth 4 semester hours and cannot find one. TESC accepted said course from National University but their course doesn't start until October. I don't want to wait that long for ONE course.
Does anybody know where I can find a six-to eight week online class worth 4 semester hours in International/Global Marketing? (I always find them worth 3 credits, not 4)
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

Isassy: A very desperate and not so happy with TESC student!!!!

This may be a stupid question, but do you specifically need four hours in International Marketing to graduate, or do you need to fulfill a requirement for an International Marketing course, and separately need four hours to meet the number of hours needed to graduate? If it's the latter case, my advice to you would be to pick one of the three hour courses you've found, take it, then take a quickie CLEP to finish up the hours requirement. After all, the utility of having the degree six months sooner should trump the convenience of getting all four hours in a single class. Best of luck!

    Answer to Fortunato

I need four semester hours to fulfill the section requirements in this particular section, which is all international something classes. They gave me a list of classes to fulfill (which of course don't exist or have you heard of Post-Soviet Economics? and other weird classes listed) International Marketing was finally accepted after many turn-downs. I could take a three-credit class and will be short 1.66 credits, on which I would have to take another class. I rather take one with 4 credits then 2 with 3 credits.
    Does that make sense?

Do you think TESC might allow you to substite International/Global Marketing with International Trade Relations and Export Management? If so, take a look at Granite State. All of their courses are 4 credits, but I think they have a 10 or 12 week format.

Four credit classes seem hard to come by! I wounder if there are many schools that have degree programs that THEY don't have the classes for.

This puts quite a burden on the student to find "strange and unusual" classes. It appears that TESC does not approve many of the proposed classes either.

My wife has the same situaton as the OP. She said her "advisor" always says "call UOP for the classes" What the heck is that call UOP.

I believe the TESC advisors should have a line on WHERE a student can take a class that is REQUIRED for one of their degree programs when they do not offer it. That is the Customer Service thing again. They do get paid to assist the students, I think, hope, wonder

How is the class search going? Did you find one yet?
